Hi there! My name is Katelynne and I'm a local resident of Canton, CT. My professional background comes from 10+ years as a Veterinary Technician in both companion small animal and exotics, and many more years before that in all avenues of animal care from zoo work, to shelters and wildlife sanctuaries. In December of 2021, a fellow local woman was seeking help with her elderly dog who was in desperate need of a nail trim. Coming from my background, it was instinctive for me to say yes. 

As a stay-at-home mom to 3 young children, my time was flexible. To get out of the house for a few minutes didn’t sound like such a bad idea! After our conversation, and then working with her sweet sweet old gal, it was a quick realization that this type of service could be a problem solver for many pet owners. Whether it be that Veterinarians/groomers are backed up, a fear of doing it yourself, elderly dogs with mobility issues, or pets stressing too much in these types of environments, countless (necessary) manis & pedis get pushed off. 

In my free time, I enjoy every second of raising my young family and letting them learn and explore through nature. I thrive off challenges and staying busy, therefore taking care of our hobby farm at home is incredibly fulfilling. I raise both chickens and ducks for eggs, have 3 wonderful rescue dogs, 2 miniature donkeys, an African Grey Parrot, and a beautiful little rabbit!
